If you’ve been around the channel long enough, you’ll know many tech careers start with curiosity. For Chris Wiggin, that spark began back in the days of the Commodore 64 and grew into a Computer Engineering degree and a career focused on helping ANZ partners unlock the full potential of Citrix solutions. Today, Chris works closely with partners to simplify decisions, drive adoption, and deliver measurable outcomes. **“Getting a Computer Engineering degree and moving through various IT roles felt natural. The best part has always been solving real problems for teams who are trying to move fast.”** Ask Chris what excites him about CXANZ and he’ll give you a straight answer. “**There’s a perception gap. Too many organisations still underestimate what modern Citrix solutions deliver across security, experience, and cost efficiency. I love changing minds, especially when partners see the impact in real projects.**” Chris is an expert in **partner enablement and secure workspace strategies**, and he’s passionate about putting a spotlight on **Secure Developer Spaces (SDS)**. **“SDS is one of those solutions most ANZ enterprises should look at closely. It makes the offshore/contracting model easier to run and much safer."** With almost every enterprise now offshoring, outsourcing or contracting parts of software delivery, development environments are a risk hotspot. **Citrix Secure Developer Spaces (SDS),** formerly Strong Network, offers centrally managed, **ephemeral, container‑based workspaces** with Zero Trust controls that start in seconds, integrate with CI/CD, and keep source code and credentials off local devices. For ANZ enterprises juggling internal teams and contractors, SDS brings **faster onboarding, tighter governance, and measurable cost efficiency**. Outside of work, when the sun’s out, you’ll find Chris hiking Auckland’s regional parks and trails. When it comes to advice, Chris lives by a classic: **“Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it." – Ferris Bueller.”** Connect with Chris or any of our CXANZ team members [here.](https://www.cxanz.com/meet-the-team) Previous Blog [← CXANZ Honours Channel Leaders Across ANZ at Inaugural Awards](https://www.cxanz.com/blog/winners-revealed-at-the-inaugural-cxanz-citrix-2025-partner-appreciation-awards) Next Blog [Citrix License Activation Service: Modernising Licensing for the Future →](https://www.cxanz.com/blog/citrix-license-activation-service-modernising-licensing-for-the-future) ![CXANX+Citrix LockUp White](https://www.cxanz.com/hs-fs/hubfs/CXANX+Citrix%20LockUp%20White.png?width=300&height=40&name=CXANX+Citrix%20LockUp%20White.png) Cloud Software Group and any trademarks, service marks, trade names, and logos of Cloud Software Group (including Citrix and NetScaler) are owned by Cloud Software Group, Inc. and/or its affiliates and are used by Dicker Data under license from Cloud Software Group, Inc.
